2d-circular motion animated gif

Two dimensional motion: uniform cirular motion

The object in motion, indicated by the heavy circle, is undergoing uniform cirular motion. The velocity of the object changes its direction, but the "size" of the velocity (the speed of the object) is constant. The acceleration, indicated by the light line, is always directed towards the center of the the circular trajectory, i.e. the object is undergoing centrtipetal acceleration.
